Little Miss Muffet

The candy thief

It was a lovely and nice day, and Little Miss Muffet was sitting on the side of the street. The sun was beaming down onto her face and the slight breeze blew light chip packets onto her lap.

                        

Little Miss Muffet was cheeky because she loved to steal kids candy and their ice cream too. She was a vicious old lady and that’s why everyone hated her for the kind of person she is because she's so mean to kids.  She had yellow brown teeth that have clumps of bits of her dinner or breakfast in them. Her eye colour was haze with a bit of green in them. The thing that got people the most was the fingers of hers. The nails were nearly rotten and each day they would fall off and about a week later grow back. One thing that she hated was children. Especially the little ones. All she wanted to do was to steal all of their treats and everything they love. One thing that hardly anyone knows about is that Little Miss Muffet loves eating ice cream. Most people see her sitting on the side of the street eating food that people drop or eating live bugs. People see her eating cockroaches, ants and spiders. Everyone thought she was the most weirdest person in the world.

But one day when she went to hop into her car she got bite by a poisonous spider, because her car was so old and had cobwebs all over it. The spider was one of the most poisonous spiders in her country. At first she didn’t care but when she started feeling dizzy she decided that she should go to a hospital to get help. When she got to the hospital somebody came up to her and asked what has happened and she said that she got bit by the most poisonous spider in the country. So straight away the person gave her medicine and ran off.

A few years ago her husband was crossing the road when this car came zooming down the street and he didn’t have time to look if there were any cars coming and there was one and it was heading straight for him boom he's dead straight away .. When Little Miss Muffet found out about the news  she broke down in tears.The great  thing   is that she  started to be nice to kids  and she got really rich She started to giving candy back to kids   and she said sorry to every kid that she stole candy of then everyone started to not hate her  but about two days after she said sorry to the kids something really sad happened, she died of old age .

Name: Sachin (My Brother)

My brother Sachin has cool straight and curly hair. He has greenish blue eyes which are really cool. He is sporty and loves playing rugby. Also every night at 8:00 to 8:30 he plays Roblox (an online gaming platform) on the computer. He is also very smart and good at spelling. He is also very fast, he made it into Regionals for Cross Country. One of the best things is that he is very funny and mostly makes me laugh by pulling funny faces. My brother also loves pasta, his favourite is probably Penne Pasta.

Dogs are better than Cats.

I think dogs are better than cats and here are my reasons why I think that. By the way, people who love cats, there’s no need to worry because there are probably heaps of reasons on the internet why cats are better than dogs.

Dogs can easily be trained far better than cats. For example, you can easily teach dogs not to run away or even get the newspaper for you in the morning or whenever it is delivered. Some people can even teach them to do tricks, while cats will just sit there staring at you not wanting to do anything.

Another reason why dogs are far better than cats is because dogs could protect your house or you from strangers/burglars. For example, if someone you don’t know or someone is trying to steal something or trying to hurt someone, the dog will get in the intruders way and will bark at them to make them scared and for them to run away.  If necessary might even bite the intruder or attack them. If an intruder comes in and there is a cat sitting on the floor or on the couch it would ever stare at them and probably purr or not care about what they are doing, or even run away.

My third reason is that dog’s help you keep fit. Dogs normally want walks so they would beg you to take them for a walk and if you don’t they would probably start annoying you. Plus if you need to go down to the dairy or the supermarket or somewhere you need to go, you could walk the dog, if the place you need to go isn’t so far, so you wouldn’t have to drive the car and damage the environment by gas and fuel coming from the car. Normally cats would just sit down and not want to do anything except hide and adventure.

Dogs care about you. If you are down in the dumps or sad they will help cheer you up. For example, if you are having a rest because you are super sad they might come and jump up on your bed and lie next to you because they care about you. Cats, they really only care about getting fed and would probably jump on the end of your bed for a rest.

Finally I think dog’s help people. Dog’s help people a lot especially blind people. These dogs are called guide dogs, they are specially trained dog’s to help people get around when they are blind. Also they help people on farms, like rounding up sheep and all that. Dog’s also help sniff out things or people for the police.

So in conclusion, they are all my reasons on why I think dog’s are better than cats. But then if you are a cat lover, there’s probably heaps of websites about how cats are better than dogs so don’t worry.

The waves hit the ship: The crashing, splashing waves crash into the ship, causing a deafening snap.

It was a cold day: The icy cold water caused shivers all over the whales causing a very icy freezing cold day.

Sam and the skydivers held on to each other. They were high up. It was scary: Frightened, Sam and the other frightened skydivers gripped as tightly as possible onto each others hands. They were the highest they would ever go in the sky. They were very scared.  

The rider held on. His bike was going quickly over the ground. It was really dusty. He felt excited and scared: The frightened rider tightly gripped his handlebars. His big bike was zooming down the hill. The air was extremely dusty. The rider felt excited but also felt frightened.

The Door!

The wide door was right in front of me it was orange with a silver handle. I opened it and saw a lot of crocodiles swimming in some water, but there was one crocodile, and that crocodile was jumping off a trampoline into the water causing a big huge splash. Tick Tock went the crocodile, I ran screaming towards the orange door. There was only one problem the door was gone. What could have happened, I looked down and saw the door pieces on the floor. Suddenly I realised it must have collapsed. Within a moment I blacked out. Suddenly I woke up in a hospital.

My Visual Mihi Blurb.

The two big koru represent my mum and my dad and the ones in the middle are me and my three brothers. The drawing of the bike is a BMX seeing as I am into BMX’s even though I haven’t got one myself. The Fishing rod with the fish at the hook is representing another one of my hobbies, fishing because I love going fishing. The NZ flag is representing I am a New Zealander I am also part Maori, the Maori comes from my Mum also Indian does as well. My dad is just NZ European. The Trampolining is another hobby that I love to do everyday. The Kind of curved one ach side and flat in the middle is a halfpipe or a skatepark, that represents ANOTHER one of my hobbies, scootering, scootering is kind of related to BMXing. There is also a picture of me on the Visual Mihi. Also Kapiti Island is something represents me seeing as it’s in Waikanae everyone in Waikanae has one of the best views of kapiti island if they stand on the beach. Mount Kailash is something that represents my culture seeing as I got named after the mountain. My koru design colours are: Mum: Red, Dad: Blue, Me: Yellow, Sachin 3rd Youngest Brother: Green, Iraia 2nd Youngest Brother: Orange, Maihi Youngest Brother: Purple.

Survivor Day Snapshot!

A Night At School

Quietly we eat our lollies, the light outside Rm 20 & 21 is still beaming in our faces.  

Suddenly out of nowhere a shadow appears outside of the tent, quickly we stop chewing and stay very quiet, the shadow starts moving very quickly away from the tent. Relieved we started chewing and swallowing our wine gums.

Every minute a shadow would appear outside of the tent and we would stop as fast as we could eating lollies, we were starting to get pretty good at that.

Suddenly a noise made me and Jack laugh super loud and eventually a teacher by the name of Ms Williams came by our tent and told us off. After that we stayed as quiet as we could but we still continued eating lollies.

Eventually we got to sleep at about something past twelve! It was fun staying the night at school and I can’t wait till next year to do it again.

Rainbows End!

In the holidays me and my family travelled to auckland to go to rainbows end. It was so fun. The Scariest ride for me would have had to be the fear fall. It felt like you had left your organs at the top of the fear fell. I could not breathe, my mum it felt like her heart was going to explode. She said she thought she was going to have a heart attack. My brother loved it. Also the gold rush was cool it was in a cave and when you came to a dead end it suddenly went dark and you turned a corner and went downhill. One of my favourites was the log floom especially the waterfall at the end.

We also went on the corkscrew rollercoaster which was fine to me. The only scary part was the loop when you went upside down. The First time I went on the rollercoaster I closed my eyes for the loop.

We also went on the invader which was fun as well.

That was mainly what happened at rainbows end.
